We’ve been out on the water four times in the past week, and several times have observed pods of dolphins feeding with Humpback whales.

For the past two days, in glassy conditions,  we watched as a juvenile Humpback fed with a pod of unusually small dolphins, which appear to be some sort of Bottlenose together with what appeared to be a Snubfin.

We estimated these dolphins to be approximately 50-60cm long and quite pale (see photos).  The cetaceans were clearly exhibiting feeding behaviour, diving steeply,  with seabirds also feeding alongside.
