Kimberley Whale Watching is pleased to announce their 2014 Wildlife Expedition Cruises along the Kimberley coast on MV Reef Prince.

The 7 Day/6 Night trips start at $3,000 per person twin share, including a scenic float plane transfer from Adele Island to Broome or reverse.

These exciting Wildlife Expedition Cruises will visit some of the Kimberley coast’s most important wildlife habitats including the Lacepede Islands and Adele Island – both important seabird breeding areas – Talbot Bay and Dugong Bay, the iconic Horizontal Waterfalls, Turtle Reef, Montgomery Reef and the Traverse and Macleay Island Groups.

Along the way passengers will have the opportunity to contribute to important Humpback whale research as we gather information about the distribution of the Breeding Stock D population of Humpback whales, the world’s largest whale population.

There are also spectacular opportunities for birdwatching and photography, with the largest colonies of Brown Booby and Lesser Frigatebird in the Indian Ocean on the Lacepede Islands and Adele Island.  The species list also includes Red-footed Booby, Masked Booby, Greater Frigatebird, Common and Black Noddy, Roseate Tern and Lesser Crested Tern, and large numbers of migratory shorebirds (20 species).
